Milton is calling on its residents to help shape their town, inviting them to join in the Master Plan process.

“We’re looking to develop a vision for the community,” said Milton Planning Director William Clark. “When you develop the vision, that is the outline for the Master Plan.”

The second of three Master Plan Community Forums will take place Tuesday, Feb. 26, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Cunningham Hall on 75 Edge Hill Rd.

At the first session on Jan. 26, residents broke up into groups to discuss visioning, preserving and improving neighborhoods, and community evolution.

The results of those discussions can be viewed at www.miltonmasterplan.org.

The last master plan was developed in 1974, and since there was an update in 1978 and some components of an update in 2004, according to Clark.

“Our plan is now to go to Town Meeting in May and get the rest of the money for an updated new Master Plan,” Clark said.
