Milton Rocks! show to feature members of Morphine this weekend

The Milton Junior Woman’s Club will hold “Milton Rocks!” on Saturday, featuring live rock music including the Elastic Waste Band with members of Boston rock band Morphine and blues guitarist Jeremy Lyons.

Lyons will return to Milton on Saturday, March 30, for a children’s show at the Milton Art Center on Edge Hill Road.

Performers will include Milton resident Franc Graham as well as bands featuring south shore musicians John O’Connor, Jamie McKnight, and Geof Shaw.

Milton resident Mac D’Allessandro will be the emcee.

Milton Rocks! celebrates the community and supports local charities. All proceeds will support the Milton Junior Woman’s Club outreach initiatives. The club’s grant program has supported the Council on Aging, the Milton Community Food Pantry, and the Milton Early Childhood Alliance, as well as providing scholarships for graduating high school seniors.

The performance will be at Milton Woman’s Clubhouse on 90 Reedsdale Rd. and doors will open at 7 p.m.
