Milton police log: April 1 to 21

The following information was taken from the Milton police log. Suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.

Monday, April 1
Malicious damage: At 5:05 a.m., police received a report of someone breaking a window to a vehicle while it was stopped at the intersection of Brook Road and Central Avenue.

Theft: At 5:28 p.m., police received a report of a theft from a Fairbanks Road resident.

Tuesday, April 2
Arrest: At 4:02 p.m., police arrested Giovany Fouyolle, 18, of Randolph and charged that person with trespassing after notice. The arrest was made on Brush Hill Road.

Break-in: At 8:56 p.m., police received a report of a break-in at a Blue Hill River Road residence.

Wednesday, April 3
Fraud: At 8:49 a.m., police received a report of identity theft from a Nahanton Avenue resident.

Arrest: At 7:08 p.m., police received a report from the CVS Pharmacy on Bassett Street that a man was attempting to pass a fraudulent prescription. Police arrested Maliek R. Anderson, 19, of Dorchester and charged that person with fraudulently obtaining a controlled substance.

Thursday, April 4
Fraud: At 5:52 p.m., police received a report of identity fraud from a Garden Street residence.

Friday, April 5
Fraud: At 10:11 a.m., police received a report of fraudulent credit card use from an Edgehill Road resident.

Fraud: At 11:24 a.m., police received a report of fraudulent use of a bank account from a Brush Hill Road resident.

Accident: At 2:52 p.m., police responded to an accident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian at Brook Road. One person was transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton.

Arrest: At 5:40 p.m., police stopped a vehicle at the intersection of Blue Hills Parkway and Parkway Crescent. Police arrested Ernesto Soto, of Randolph, and charged him with operating with a suspended license and speeding.

Accident: At 10:13 p.m., police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Brush Hill Road. One person was transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton.

Sunday, April 7
Assault: At 1:55 a.m., police received a report from a Boston Medical Center Security officer stating that an emergency room patient had been assaulted in Milton.

Malicious damage: At 12:56 p.m., police received a report of vandalism from a Norman Street resident.

Accident: At 5:10 p.m., police responded to a two-car accident at the intersection of Blue Hill Avenue and Dollar Lane. Two people were transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton.

Monday, April 8
Theft: At 10:10 a.m., police received a report of a theft from Canton Avenue.

Break-in: At 5:12 p.m., police received a report of a break-in on Emerson Road. The front door was kicked in.

Tuesday, April 9
Break-in: At 3:40 p.m., police received a report of a housebreak on Ferncroft Road.

Wednesday, April 10
Malicious damage: At 6:53 a.m., police received a report of vandalism to a vehicle on Hudson Street.

Arrest: At 9:47 a.m., police received a report of a break-in on Eliot Street. Police arrested Harvey Wiggins, 32, of Dorchester and charged him with breaking and entering during daytime, attempt to commit a felony, larceny over $250, and malicious destruction of property.

Thursday, April 11
Arrest: At 11:20 p.m., police received a call of a suspicious person who banged on the front door of a Quisset Brook Road house then fled. Police found Michael Yalmokas, 23, of Qunicy in a vehicle and arrested him. He was charged with receiving a stolen motor vehicle. The vehicle had been reported stolen to the Quincy Police Department earlier that day.

Saturday, April 13
Assault: At 12:50 a.m., police received a report of an assault at Curry College. One person was transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton, and two students were issued court summons for assault and battery.

Robbery: At 4:11 p.m., police received a report of a robbery at CVS Pharmacy on Bassett Street.

Assault: At 4:38 p.m., police received a report of an assault at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton Emergency Department on Highland Street. The staff was reporting an unruly patient and one person was issued a summons for Quincy District Court for two counts of assault.

Sunday, April 14
Arrest: At 1:47 p.m., the Massachusetts State Police stopped a vehicle on Dorchester Street in connection with a robbery at CVS Pharmacy on Bassett Street the previous day. Police arrested Leo V. Fitzsimmons, 34, of Hyde Park and charged him with armed robbery, larceny of a controlled substance, and trafficking a Class B substance.

Monday, April 15
Mutual aid: At 3:29 p.m., police sent multiple officers to the city of Boston to lend assistance for the Marathon bombing incident.

Tuesday, April 16
Accident: At 8:22 a.m., police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Blue Hills Parkway. One person was transported to Boston Medical Center.

Wednesday, April 17
Arrests: At 10:01 p.m., police stopped a vehicle at the intersection of Blue Hills Parkway and Parkway Crescent. Police arrested the driver, Harold Conille, 31, of Dorchester, and charged him with driving with a suspended license, using a motor vehicle without authority, and a marked lanes violation. Police asked a passenger, Irving Johnson, 29, of Dorchester, to step out of the car. Johnson tensed up and made a quick movement and reached for his waistline. The arresting officer, Christopher Potts, grabbed both Johnson's hands and discovered a 45-caliber Colt pistol tucked into his waist band. Potts arrested Johnson and charged him with having a firearm without a license, receiving stolen property, and unlawful possession of ammunition.

Thursday, April 18
Accident: At 12:08 p.m., police responded to an accident involving a trolley and a car on Central Avenue.

Vandalism: At 8:31 p.m., police received a report of malicious damage to a vinyl fence on Central Avenue.

Friday, April 19
Mutual aid: At 1:28 a.m., police sent mutual aid officers to the town of Watertown to assist with the search for a marathon bombing suspect.

Requested officers: At 6:36 a.m., police received a request from Transit Police for a heavy presence at stations within town, related to a shootout incident involving suspects from the Marathon bombings in Cambridge. The officers were sent.

Saturday, April 20
Accident: At 4:32 p.m., police responded to a two-car accident at the intersection of Brook Road and Reedsdale Road. One person was transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton.

Sunday, April 21
Theft: At 9 a.m., police received a report of a stolen bicycle on Allerton Road.

Theft: At 6:07 p.m., police received a report of a stolen bicycle on Hinckley Road that happened overnight. Police found another bicycle from the area that had been missing on the property.

Arrests: At 8:19 p.m., police arrested Juwan Gooding, 17, of Milton and Ryan P. Gunter, 18, of Dorchester and charged them with one count each of armed robbery. The two had attempted to rob a third person at gunpoint on Brook Road. They were arrested on Hawthorne Road.
