Milton police log: May 13 to 19

The following information was taken from the Milton police log. Suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.

Monday, May 13

Theft: At 4:34 p.m., police received a report of a stolen Fisher Minute Mount 2 snowplow valued at $2,500. The theft took place on Centre Lane.

Wednesday, May 15

Theft: At 3:48 p.m., police received a report of a stolen laptop out of an unlocked vehicle on Canton Avenue. Also missing were a Swiss army backpack valued at $100, headphones valued at $200, and a laptop mouse valued at $80. The laptop was valued at $1,658.

Friday, May 17

Accident: At 12:54 p.m., police responded to an accident involving a Massachusetts Bay Transport Authority bus at the intersection of Randolph Avenue and Hillside Street. One person was transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton.

Saturday, May 18

Break-in: At 9:50 a.m., police received a report of a break-in on Rose Street. Two credit cards, cash, and a wallet were missing.

Break-in: At 1:08 p.m., police received a report of a break-in on Lyman Road. A flat screen television, a universal television remote, jewelry, a laptop, candlesticks, and pictures frames were taken.

Attempted break-in: At 5:59 p.m., police received a report of an attempted break-in on Wharf Street. Someone tried to pry open a cabin hatch on the hull of a sailboat at the Milton Yacht Club.

Arrest: At 8:45 p.m., police received a report of a hit-and-run accident on Pleasant Street. Police located the vehicle on Ridgewood Road and arrested Alyssa McGrail, 19, of Milton, charging her with operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation, person under 21 transporting liquor, and leaving the scene of property damage accident.

Sunday, May 19

Theft: At 12:14 p.m., police received a report of a stolen blue BMX bicycle from Milton High School on Gile Road.

Fraud: At 4:28 p.m., police received a report of identity theft from a Bates Road resident. Several accounts were opened, starting in 2009, under the victim’s name.
