Milton police are looking for a suspect in a bank robbery that took place at 2 p.m. Monday.

The suspect, described as a man about 5 foot 8 or 5 foot 9 wearing a gray or black Boston Red Sox hat in his mid-20s, robbed Citizens Bank at 420 Granite Ave., said Milton police Lieutenant Kevin Foley.

“He entered and fled the scene on foot,” Foley said.

He said the suspect waited in line and then passed the teller a note that said, “I have a gun. No dye pack. I’m checking and I’ll shoot everyone.”

The suspect made off with an undetermined amount of cash, Foley said.

Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to call them at 617 698 3800.
