Three Boston teens charged with stealing bikes in Milton

Milton police apprehended three teenagers for allegedly stealing bicycles last week.

Police had received several calls of stolen bicycles from Briarfield Road, Audubon Road, Hinckley Road, and Rustlewood Road.

Xavier Johnson, 17, Tyshawn Pereira, 17, and a 16-year-old juvenile, all from Mattapan were arrested on Tuesday, Aug. 13, around 7:15 p.m.

A neighbor at the Audubon Road address who attempted to chase the teens but failed to keep up identified two of the teenagers, according to police. The third was identified by a Brairfield Road resident who observed a theft the previous day.

Johnson and Pereira were charged with larceny from a building and receiving stolen property under $250. The juvenile was charged with receiving stolen property over $250.
