Live in Natick and can't get to the ocean this summer?

Jordan Brothers Seafood will bring it to you on Saturday mornings for the next two months.

The Brockton-based wholesaler, established in 1989 by Robert and Thomas Jordan, has begun offering its goods at suburban farmers’ markets, including Natick's popular Saturday morning gathering on town common.

So far, response from landlubbers has been “just great’’ says Robert Jordan.

A pilot program through the state Division of Marine Fisheries allows wholesalers to sell shellfish at farmers’ markets this summer. In the past few weeks, striped bass ($9 per half-pound), swordfish ($7 per half-pound) and Prince Edward Island mussels ($5 for 2 pounds) have become the top sellers.

Get your seafood, some vegetables from another vendor, pick out your fruit for dessert, and you’re on your way home with the makings of an oceanside meal.
