Finalists named for Natick athletic director job
The Natick public schools will hold a forum Thursday so the public can meet the three finalists to become Natick's next athletic director.
Martha Jamieson, Robert Pearl, and Michael Plansky are finalists to replace Tom Lamb, who is retiring this year as athletic director and football coach, the school district announced on its website.
Jamieson has served as the director of athletics, physical education and health (grades K-12) at Wayland High School for 10 years. She was previously the director of athletics at Haverhill High School from 1996-2000. She holds a bachelor of science in physical education from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a master of education in physical education-sport management from Springfield College.
Pearl has served as the athletic director at Medway High School since 2005. He holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in physical education from Bridgewater State College.
Plansky has been the athletic director at Marblehead High School since 2005. He has served as the Marblehead Assistant Principle since 2007. He previously served as the head basketball coach at Endicott College and Salve Regina University. He earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Fairfield University and a master’s degree in sports psychology from the University of Iowa.
The candidates will participate in a forum next Thursday at Natick High School, allowing the public to provide input on the selection process for the final three candidates.
The forum will take place at 7 p.m. in the Natick High School cafeteria. Each candidate will take questions for 30 minutes, and written feedback will be collected from audience members.
