Hazardous waste disposal day in Natick

Next Saturday is Natick’s annual hazardous household waste collection day. It will be held from 9 a.m. to noon in the Kennedy Senior Center parking lot, and advance tickets must be purchased for $5 from the Board of Health.

Among the items accepted are paints, cleaners, pesticides, herbicides, solvents, and car fluids except for motor oil. Items not accepted are mercury-containing products, asbestos, explosives, propane tanks, and prescription medication. For more information, contact the Board of Health at 508-647-6460.
