Natick Forever, the political action committee that sprung up in the wake of the debate over whether to keep the Redmen name for Natick sports teams is sponsoring its third annual debate for Board of Selectmen candidates on Feb. 2 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Morse Institute Library.

Jimmy Brown, chair of Natick Forever, will serve as the moderator. He said that three of the four candidates have said they'll attend: incumbent Carol Gloff and challengers Nick Mabardy and Ted Wynne. The fourth candidate, Lawrence Delaney, hasn't yet responded, said Brown.

There are two seats open on the board. Mabardy is the town's retiring police chief and Wynne is a former School Committee member. Delaney has also returned nomination papers to run for the five-year seat on the Natick Housing Authority board.

The debate format and rules will be posted before the event at www.natickforever.org. Questions and suggestions can be emailed to natickforever@gmail.com.
