Natick police are warning parents to keep an eye on their children after a Grafton man was arrested this week for allegedly sending a local child sexual text messages.

Natick police said officers were contacted Saturday, Dec. 15 by the parent of a minor noting that the child had received sexual text messages from Michael Donald Kieft, 64 of Grafton.

Police set up surveillance with both marked and plainclothes officers. On Monday, authorities found the man driving near, and eventually stopping at, the address of the child around 2:30 p.m.

Kieft was placed under arrest without incident. He is charged with engaging in sexual conduct for a fee with a child under 18 and enticing a child under 18 to engage in prostitution using an electronic device.

Kieft was arraigned in Natick District Court on Tuesday and held on $5,000 cash bail with numerous conditions, including no contact with the victim or persons under the age of 18.
