Natick Superintendent Peter Sanchioni announced that school is on for Tuesday, but is also encouraging parents to remind their kids to exercise caution when it comes to safety.
In an email blast Sanchioni sent to the district, he also advised parents not to let their children walk to school.
"The Natick DPW has done an excellent job clearing our lots and creating sidewalks leading up to our schools," Sanchioni said. "However, due to the large amount of snow, great mounds have been created that are impairing the visibility of motorists. We recommend that if parents can do so, please drive your child to school instead of allowing them to walk."
For students that take the bus to school, Sanchioni implored parents to make sure the children waited only at the bus stop, and to be aware of cars around them.
"Safety is our greatest concern and we ask your help in that endeavor," he wrote.
