Parent Talk holds spring consignment sale

The Parent Talk semi-annual used clothing, toy and equipment sale features thousands of items at bargain basement prices.

In tough times everyone could use a little help, whether it’s extra money or a discount on a much needed item. The semi-annual Parent Talk consignment sale will do just that— help families earn a little spring cleaning cash for unwanted children’s items, or help them find a steal on children’s items they need!

Gather up your gently used kids’ clothing, Halloween costumes, shoes, winter coats, toys, children’s books, car seats, strollers, high chairs, bouncy seats—any child’s item you think will sell! Then just pick up a seller’s kit, price and tag your items, and they’ll be ready for sale on Saturday, May 2nd at the Christ Episcopal Church in Needham. If you’d rather not consign your items, Parent Talk is also accepting donations. Drop off any donations at the church on Friday, May 1st between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Then, on Saturday, May 2nd, join hundreds of shoppers and peruse thousands of “new” items on sale for bargain basement prices. Come early—8:30 a.m.—to find the best items, or come later to fill a bag for just $10!

Proceeds benefit Parent Talk, a community-based non-profit helping families with young children. All unsold items will be donated to local charities including: the Chelsea Community Closet, Circle of Hope, Lynn Women’s Health and the First Parish Church.

TO CONSIGN:
1. Contact sellerskit@parenttalk.info to obtain a seller’s kit.
2. Spend a little time tagging your goods.
3. Earn cash when your items sell.

TO DONATE:
1. Drop off your items on Friday, May 1st at Christ Episcopal Church in Needham between 9am-5pm or email donations@parenttalk.info for earlier drop-off options.
2. Every item not sold at the sale is donated directly to charities.
