A public information session on Newman Elementary’s repairs and upgrades has been scheduled for July 27 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at the Needham Public Library.

The town’s architects are in the process of developing the design for a new heating and ventilation system to replace the temporary one that has been in place since the old system failed last year.

The info session will include a brief update on the project including the timeline, as well as a chance for questions and answers, according to George Kent, chairman of the Permanent Public Building Committee.
