Needham youth services presents annual "make a statement day"

Needham Youth Services will be having its annual “Make a Statement Day” next week.

The event is a way for the students and staff at Needham High School to create t-shirts with personal, political, factual, or other statements to voice their thoughts on issues that matter to them.

This program will help students raise awareness, promote discussion, and express their thoughts and feelings about important issues.

Students and teachers will make their t-shirts Wednesday at noon. This is an early release day.

Those who are unable to attend may create their t-shirt the following day at 2:30 p.m.

Students and staff will wear their shirts on March 11. For more information, visit www.needhamma.gov/youth/masd.
