Needham Youth Services is seeking high school students for its mentoring program, Valuable Interactions among Peers, or VIP. The program pairs high schoolers (Big VIPs) with elementary school students (Little VIPs) in third to fifth grade.

Big VIPs and Little VIPs meet once a week to play games, talk and and tell stories under the supervision of Youth Services staff.

High schoolers interested in becoming mentors for the 2012-2013 school year should apply by Friday, June 1. Applications are available at the Needham Youth Services office or online here.

Eighth-graders about to enter high school are welcome to apply. Big VIPs are eligible for Community Classroom Credit.

For more information, call 781-455-7500x264 or email kcolthart@needhamma.gov.
