The Needham Department of Public Works will hold a public meeting on Thursday night to discuss the roadway rehabilitation of Webster Street between West Street and Highland Avenue.

The meeting will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Eliot School Performance Center on Wellesley Avenue.

In October, the DPW will undertake the third and final phase of the project, which runs from Dedham Avenue to Highland Avenue. The first two phases were completed between 2007 and 2010, according to a notice from the town announcing the meeting.

At Thursday’s meeting, the DPW will present the design plan that shows a portion of the street that will be widened to provide on-street parking for Avery Field users.

The overall roadway width will not be increased.

Anyone unable to attend the meeting should email rhoyland@needhamma.gov.
