Needham’s annual Holiday Stroll and Blue Tree Lighting event will be held this year on Saturday, Nov. 24.

There will be activities, music and entertainment in the downtown from noon until the Blue tree Lighting at 5:25 p.m. on the Town Common with the Highland Glee Club. Santa will ride into town on a Needham fire truck to celebrate.

Victorian carolers will be singing from 2 p.m to 4 p.m.; there will be a jazz combo and other musicians; there will be promotions and a broadcast from the radio station WODS from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.; and participating merchants will be offering special holiday treats.

Bring toys to the Needham Fire Fighters’ Toys for Tots collection box near the Town Hall steps to help spread good cheer.

The Holiday Stroll and Blue Tree Lighting event are sponsored by the Needham Business Association in conjunction with the Needham Merchants Association and the Needham Restaurant Association.
