Disney’s High School Musical Jr. is coming to Needham, with the Next Generation Theatre Company’s production of the smash hit musical scheduled to run starting at the end of this month.

From the press release: Jocks, Brainiacs, Thespians, and Skater Dudes find their cliques, recount their vacations, and look forward to their new high school year. Through twists and turns and teenage intrigue, the whole school comes together as winners on stage, and on the court, as the Wildcats win the championship game and teens Troy and Gabriella emerge as true sensations!

Performances are scheduled for Nov. 29 and Nov. 30 at 7 p.m., and Dec. 1 at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. at The Congregational Church of Needham at 1154 Great Plain Ave.

The Next Generation Theatre Company was founded in January of 2012 by Dave Carney, Adam Isbitsky, Kristen Kuznezov and Jen Burke as a supportive and fun learning environment.

Tickets for the show are $10. They will be available at the door and online here. For more information about Next Generation Theatre Company, check out the website and Facebook page.
