The Needham Historical Society is throwing a Chocolate and Champagne Party in February, and country music singer Catie Offerman will be providing live entertainment.

The party will be held on Feb. 2 at Powers Hall in Town Hall, and there will be a Blue Ribbon Bar-B-Q buffet, dancing, a silent auction and contests.

Offerman is a singer from Texas. Her songs include “Kissin’ in the Dark” and “You’re from Texas.”

According to a release for the event, she has performed at the Kennedy Center in D.C., the House of Blues in Boston, and the Orchid Lounge in Nashville. She has also opened for Jerry Jeff Walker and Andrea Bochelli.
