Needham High School graduates who have gone on to find success as business leaders, community activists, or in the arts, military or other professions will get a chance to be honored with the George A. Dennett Distinguished Career Award, for which nominations are now being accepted.

If you know someone who graduated before 2003 who has excelled in their chosen profession, you can nominate them here.

The award is named for a former NHS teacher and coach, George A. Dennett, and has been given out since 1990. Each fall, NHS juniors are invited to an assembly where recipients recall their NHS days and talk about how they became successful, according to a release for the award.

Recipients must be available to receive their awards on Friday, Oct. 25.

In addition to nominating online, you can email forms to cpd1667@aol.com or send them via message on the award’s Facebook page.
