Ridge Hill Reservation in Needham.

The Needham Conservation Commission will host monthly guided walks around Ridge Hill Reservation so residents can get to know the reservation and explore the trail system.

Walks are scheduled starting March 1, as well as April 5, May 3, and June 7, according to the commission. Each walk starts at 10 a.m. and will last between one and two hours.

Anyone interested can meet at the large parking lot at 10 a.m. each of the scheduled Saturdays.

Commission members encourage walkers to dress warm in the spring months, recommending a wind-blocking outer layer and comfortable walking shoes with good grip and moisture-wicking socks.

Walks will be held if there is light snow, but will not be cancelled if there are blizzard conditions or rain.
