The late Tom DePeter of Newton honored for lacrosse coaching

The coaches' association for Eastern Massachusetts boys' lacrosse has named the late Tom DePeter one of its men of the year.

DePeter, a Newton North teacher who died May 6, was an "accomplished Lacrosse Coach for Newton North, Newton South and Lincoln-Sudbury,'' according to his death notice.

He was one of several players and coaches singled out for mentions by the coaches' organization. See the full list here.
