Newton girls deliver strong showing in Nike track meet

Newton South didn’t disappoint at yesterday’s Nike Indoor Nationals at the Reggie Lewis Center, finishing fourth in the girls’ 1,600-meter sprint medley in 4:05.47. Competing as the Newton Center Athletics team, the foursome was 2.63 seconds behind the first-place team, Garden City (4:02.84). which made the trip from New York.
