A masked gunman robbed Village Bank in Newton Highlands this morning, according to Newton Police.
The man entered the bank at 89 Wyman Street at 10:33 a.m. with a black handgun and ordered bank customers to the floor. He proceeded to a bank teller where he demanded cash, according to Newton Police Lieutenant Bruce Apothekar.
The unidentified suspect fled the bank with an undetermined amout of money, heading south on Wyman street. The crime is under investigation by Newton Police and the FBI Bank Robberty Task force.
