On Thursday, MIT graduate students from the Department of Urban Studies and Planning will be hosting their second and final community meeting on the future of Needham Street, according to a release.

After their well-attended community meeting on Oct. 28, they have refined their
ideas and consulted with more members of our community. Their presentation will include their final recommendations for the corridor, including specific interventions, financial feasibility, and potential zoning changes. Their work will culminate in a final report in December.

The presentation and discussion will be held from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. in the Aldermanic Chamber. There will be refreshments and a display of posters beginning at 6:30 p.m. in Room 209, Newton City Hall.
