Protecting your brand workshop: Choosing, using & not losing trademarks

When: Thursday, Dec. 5, 7:30-9 a.m.
Where: Bullfinch Group, 160 Gould St., 3rd floor, Needham Heights
Cost: $20

Your name is your brand; your special logo, tagline and information are your intellectual property. If you own a small business or product line, here's a seminar you can't afford to miss. Brands are important and efforts to build them can pay big returns. Just as importantly, learn how to avoid costly lawsuits occasioned by infringing on the others' brands. Our presenters will be two attorneys - Jerry Cohen of Burns & Levinson LLP and Christine M. Kuta of Kuta Intellectual Property Law LLC - with extensive experience dealing with patents, copyright, trademark and intellectual property. Bring your questions. Seating is limited. Organized by the Newton-Needham Chamber of Commerce’s Lawyers Council.
