The Merrimack College Speaker Series presents “On the Front Lines with Lara Logan,” 60 Minutes Correspondent and CBS News Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent on Monday, October 28 at 7:30 p.m.

Lara Logan’s bold reporting from war zones for more than two decades has earned her a prominent spot among the world’s best foreign correspondents.  Most recently, Logan [left] received the John F. Hogan Distinguished Service Award from RTDNA, followed by her second Emmy Award.  She has been the recipient of the Daniel Pearl Award for Outstanding International Investigative Reporting, the David Bloom Award for excellence in enterprise reporting in 2008, and the 2007 Association of International Broadcasters’ Best International News Story Award for her report on the Taliban.  She has won an Overseas Press Club Award and twice received the RTDNA/Edward R. Murrow Award for her reporting in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The lecture, held in the Rogers Center for the Arts on the campus of Merrimack College, North Andover, is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.  Space is limited.  Anyone interested in attending should RSVP to communications@merrimack.edu or by calling 978-837-5156.
