Leading musicians meet the public in Norwell
Music lovers will have a chance Sunday afternoon to meet the music directors of the James Library and the Atlantic Symphony Orchestra.
Larry Wolfe, music director of the James Library, has been playing bass for the Boston Symphony for 30 years. Jin Kim is in his 13th season as conductor of the Atlantic Symphony, which used to be called the Hingham Symphony Orchestra.
The two men will appear at 4 p.m. in the upstairs salon at the James Library in Norwell Center. Their discussion on classical music will touch on such topics as their careers and the relationship between conductor and orchestra. Members of the audience can meet the two men in a reception afterwards.
Tickets are $20 for adults, $18 for seniors, and $10 for youths through age 18. Tickets can be purchased by calling the James Library at 781-659-7100 or visiting the ASO website.
