Youth Library Council members work with the Youth Services Librarian to help select books, movies, sound recordings and other library materials, plan and implement library programs, and offer suggestions for enhancing library services.

Membership is open to youths in grades 4 through 8. No qualifications for membership are necessary other than a desire to participate in community service. The group meets monthly -- please refer to the library’s online Calendar for meeting dates. Registration for each meeting is requested.
