Police are searching for a white male who they suspect robbed a Norwell Dunkin’ Donuts last Saturday, said John Suurhans, Deputy Chief of the Norwell Police.
The suspect entered the building at 11:35 p.m. and left three minutes later, breaking two security cameras by cutting the wire in one and ripping the cords out of another, Suurhans said.
“It appears the door was left unlocked,” Suurhans said in an e-mail.
The footage police were able to recover shows a white male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a single black glove, police say.
Suurhans said the crime was reported the following day at about 6 a.m., when the manager entered and saw the cash drawer on the floor.
Detectives are investigating the case, Surrhans said.
