Nomination papers for Norwell’s annual town election are now available at the Town Clerk’s office.

Any resident wishing to run as a candidate in the election scheduled for Saturday, March 12, 2011, has until Jan. 20 to obtain the papers, and must submit them to the Town Clerk by Jan. 24.

The terms of office for 13 elected officials expire in March, and their positions will be on the ballot.

Officials up for re-election include Leo Reed on the Board of Assessors; Peter Dillon on the Board of Health; Richard Merritt on the Board of Selectmen; Steven Ivas on the Board of Water Commissioners; Moderator William Coffey; Edward Walsh, Jr. of the Housing Authority; Library trustees Jeanne Hagelstein-Ivas and John Shortall; Karen Joseph and Sally Turner on the Planning Board; School Committee members Brian Noble and Kiersten Warendorf; and Town Clerk Patricia Anderson.
