The police log: rock through window; skateboarders at the gazebo
Here are some incidents reported to the Norwood police last week. A full list is available at police headquarters, 137 Nahatan St.
On Jan. 19 at 8:29 a.m., a resident and employee of Guarino Pastry Shop on Washington Street walked into the police station to report that a letter had been received in the mail stating that all employees at the shop are private investigators. The note was signed but not legibly. The employee was advised that no crime had been committed.
On Jan. 18 at 10:51 a.m,. a resident on Railroad Avenue reported that someone threw a rock through his storm window. A report of the incident and damage was taken.
Later that night at 7:48 p.m., a caller reported children skateboarding in and out of the gazebo at the Town Common on Washington Street. An officer spoke with the skateboarders.
On Jan. 17 at 4:06 p.m., police arrested Tracy McMahon, 33, of Norwood on an oustanding warrant following a call from CVS Pharmacy on Nahatan Street.
