What's happening around Norwood this week

Here’s a quick look at events and happenings taking place around Norwood this week.

Meetings: On Feb. 21 at 3 p.m., the Housing Authority will meet at Norwood Town Hall, 566 Washington St. The same day at 7 p.m. the Board of Selectmen will meet at Town Hall and the Zoning Board of Appeals will meet there at 7:15 p.m.

Puppet band: The Norwood Recreation Center will host a show by the Joe Jam Puppet Band Feb. 22 at 11 a.m. at 165 Nahatan St. The event costs $4 and is open to all area children.

Seniors Bingo: Norwood Seniors are invited to attend a Bingo afternoon at the Senior Center, 275 Prospect St., on Wednesday at 1 p.m.

Diabetes workshop: The Norwood Senior Center will hold a diabetes workshop at 11 a.m. on Thursday.

Kids yoga: Norwood children can join "Ms. Gina" at the library for one of two children's yoga sessions on Wednesday. The first for kids ages 2-4 will be at 10 a.m. and the second for those ages 5-7 will run from 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Registration is required.
