What's happening in Norwood this week

Here are some events taking place in Norwood this week.

Meetings: The Airport Commission will meet Tuesday at noon in the commission meeting room, 125 Access Road. The Housing Authority will also meet Tuesday at 3 p.m. at the administrative offices, 40 William Shyne Circle. The Board of Selectmen will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Town Hall, 566 Washington St.

Seniors square dance: The Norwood Senior Center, 275 Prospect St., will hold a free square dance session for seniors Tuesday at 9 a.m.

April break sports: Norwood students can join the Norwood Recreation Department’s Skyhawks Vacation Week Sports Clinic Tuesday at 9 a.m. at 165 Nahatan St. The cost is $75; students will spend the week learning about and playing a variety of sports.

Reading dog: Lucy the dog will be at the Morrill Memorial Library, 33 Walpole St., Wednesday at 10 a.m. to read with children.

Petey the Library Bunny: Children 4 and older can celebrate a day full of Petey, the library bunny, Thursday at 11 a.m. Registration is required; call 781-769-0200. The day will consist of reading bunny books, creating bunny-themed crafts, singing songs, and eating snacks.

History talk: The Norwood Senior Center will hold a World War II history talk Thursday at 1 p.m. at the center, 275 Prospect St.

Schools: Norwood public school students are off for this week for the April vacation. Students return to class Monday, April 23.
