What's happening in Norwood this week

Here’s a quick look at events and happenings taking place in Norwood this week.

Meetings: The Board of Health will meet Monday at 9 a.m. at Town Hall, 566 Washington St. The Planning Board will meet Monday at 6:30 p.m. also at Town Hall. The Board of Selectmen will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. and the Norfolk County Advisory Board will meet Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Town Hall.

Weight Loss Clinic: New Horizon Health and Wellness, 38 Vanderbilt Ave. Unit E will hold a free medical weight loss clinic for Norwood residents Monday at 6 p.m.

Social Media Workshop: The Morrill Library, 33 Walpole St. will hold a “Social Media 101” workshop Monday at 7 p.m. The workshop is free and will cover the basics of major social media sites and how they are used.

Cleveland PTA: The Cleveland School PTA will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the school, 33 George F. Willett Pkwy.

Norwood Historical Society: The Norwood Historical Society, 93 Day St. will hold its annual membership meeting and presentation Wednesday at 7 p.m. There will be tours given of the Day House following the meeting.

Magic Concert: Bonaparte Family Magic Concert will perform Friday at 6:30 p.m. at the recreation department, 165 Nahatan St. The cost is $5 and the show will feature age-appropriate comedy and magicians.
