Norwood Hospital will hold a “Walk Away from Knee Pain” workshop on Sept. 18 to discuss its new, minimally invasive treatment called MAKOplasty.

The workshop will run from 6 to 7 p.m., and orthopedic surgeons will explain how the robotic-arm assisted technology can treat early to mid-stage osteoarthritis, a news release said. This is the second workshop of its kind this year.

Bring questions for doctors and patients who have already had the surgery. Light refreshments will also be served and parking is available.

Interested participants should pre-register online at www.steward.org/MAKOplasty or call 1-800-488-5959.

Information about the MAKOplasty technique is available at www.makoplasty.com.
