Norwood Hospital hires new chief financial officer

NEWS RELEASE:

Mark S. Johnson, CPA, FACHE, has joined Norwood Hospital as its newest chief financial officer.

Johnson was previously chief financial officer for Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, a large 423-bed hospital in Poplar Bluff, Mo. Prior to that, he served as CFO for several hospitals and medical centers in Nevada, Arizona, and Texas.

Johnson is a graduate of Mississippi State University and holds a Master of Accountancy from the University of Mississippi. He is a certified public accountant and a fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives.

“We are so pleased to have Mark on our senior leadership team and welcome him to Norwood Hospital,” said Emily Holliman, Norwood Hospital President. “He brings a wealth of healthcare financial management experience to our hospital and will be an asset as we continue to grow and serve the community.”
