Norwood police arrested four South Shore men Wednesday on a variety of drug charges, following an investigation by detectives from the town along with the Norfolk County Police Anti-Crime Task Force.

Stephen Petrosh, 18, of Norwood; Joseph T. Carbone, 18, of Scituate; and Joseph A. Spaziani of Weymouth were charged with possession with the intent to distribute LSD, Psilocybin, marijuana, Ritalin, Lyrica, Varenicline, and unlawful possession of ammunition without a FID Card. Justin T. Schrekenghaust, 20, of Norwood was charged with possession of LSD.

The investigation began months ago after Norwood detectives learned the Petrosh was dealing marijuana. As a result, police received a warrant to search his house.

When police arrived Wednesday morning, they saw the four men inside but when they did not answer the door, police knocked it down.

Along with the drugs the men were charged with possessing, detectives seized cash, weapons, scales, and items used in the distribution of drugs, a news release said.

Petrosh also has pending drug charges in Concord District Court and Spaziani was arrested for possession of a Class B substance and is awaiting trial in Concord as well.
