The Norwood Police Department responded to 40 storm-related calls Monday. The reports ranged from fallen trees to property damage, but police said Tuesday that there were no storm-related injuries reported.

"We do know that several residents had suffered some property damage," police Spokesman Kevin Grasso said in an e-mail.

Police worked closely with Norwood Light, the fire department, and the Public Works Department to keep pedestrians and motorists safe, Grasso added.

Many officers throughout the day reported that people were listening to warnings and requests to stay inside and off the roads.

The calls were broken down into the following categories:

Wires Down: 10
Road Hazards: 16
Traffic Light Problems: 4
Other:10
