The First Baptist Church of Norwood will hold its annual “Gingerbread Fair” Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church’s Parish Hall, 71 Bond St.

This year’s event will include a “cookie walk” where shoppers can purchase a variety of home-baked goodies from local bakers and a craft sale.

Children will have a chance to create gingerbread houses and shop for presents ranging in price from 50 cents to $2.

Crafts for sale will include hand-knitted items, wooden crafts, wreaths, jewelry, among others. A silent auction and raffle of restaurant and gift certificates will also be held.

A breakfast of homemade breads and pastries will be provided during the early hours of the event and around lunchtime, grilled burgers, sandwiches, and soup will be available.

The event is free and open to everyone.
