School on Wheels of Massachusetts (SOWMA) is seeking volunteers to become one-on-one afterschool tutors/mentors and positive adult role models for children living in the Inn Between and the Inn Transition in Peabody. As a SOWMA tutor, you will help a pre-K through 12th grade student overcome obstacles to learning and achieve his or her full potential. Tutor orientation training and ongoing support are provided. No prior experience is needed. A three month commitment is requested.

Tutors are currently needed in Peabody, Brockton, Norwell, New Bedford, and Middleboro. To find out more about becoming a SOWMA volunteer, contact Joanna or Elizabeth, 508-587-9091, joanna@sowma.org, or visit www.sowma.org.
