A tractor trailer hauling printer ink rolled over this morning, spewing its contents across the highway and forcing the closure during this morning's rush hour of the ramp linking Route 128 and Interstate 95 in Peabody.

Real time traffic updates can be found here.

The crash occurred around 6 a.m. when the truck was traveling from Route 128 north to I-95 northbound, according to State Police. The truck was hauling printer cartridge ink that is not expected to cause any environmental damage, State Police said.

However, an environmental clean up company is being called in. Officials from the state Department of Environmental Protection are on the scene monitoring the cleanup.

The ramp is expected to be closed for the next several hours, State Police said.
