The North Suburban Jewish Community Center in West Peabody is inviting the public to the US launch of "Where's Whitey" the latest book from the best-selling authors of "Brutal: The untold Story of my life inside Whitey Bulger's Irish Mob."

The authors, former Bulger lieutenant Kevin Weeks and Boston University Journalism professor Phyllis Karas, will hold a short lecture about their new novel followed by book signings at Prince Pizzeria at 517 Broadway in Saugus, according to an announcement from the North Suburban Jewish Community Center.

The book is a fictionalized account of life inside the infamous South Boston Irish Mob. The event comes on the same day the FBI announced a new plan to capture the fugitive South Boston gangster by focusing public attention on Bulger's longtime girlfriend, Catherine Greig.

Registration begins at 6 p.m. followed by dinner at 6:30 with the lecture beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20, per person including dinner. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the North Suburban Jewish Community Center. For reservations, call 978-535-2968.
