Peabody Police launch holiday toy donation collection
The following is a press release from the Peabody Police Department:
As the holiday season approaches, Chief Robert L. Champagne is pleased to announce the commencement of the annual Peabody Police Toy Drive. Since 1992 members of the police department have partnered with local Peabody agencies while working to assist less fortunate families during the holiday season.
Donations, new unwrapped toys, can be deposited in a collection box located in the lobby of the police station. The collection box will be available until December 21.
The event has previously been a great success and highly impacted families that experience difficulties during this time of year.
Members of the police department wish to thank all in advance who choose to participate.
