Peabody native and singer song writer Ryan Montbleau was featured on WBUR’s Radio Boston on Tuesday afternoon.

Montbleau — who began his career playing small clubs and folk venues around Boston as a solo artist now leads the Ryan Montbleau Band.

His newest CD, “For Higher” was recorded in New Orelans with some of the Crescent City’s best known musicians, including Ivan Neville, Anders Osborne and George Porter Jr.

The Ryan Montbleau Band will perform at Showcase Live in Foxborough on Saturday.
