Peabody police log, June 25-26

The following was taken from the Peabody Police Department logs for Monday and Tuesday:

Monday, June 25:

9:46 a.m. The Fire Department received a report of an alarm sounding at 20 Pleasant Street. They checked the property and stated that there was a basement window that was open. They checked the interior and stated that there was no one inside. An officer was able to secure the window and left a note for the landlord.

10:49 a.m. A clerk at Gaetas Auto Service reports that $48 in gas was stolen, and the suspect left in motor vehicle with MA Reg. 2587zv. The same vehicle was used in a larceny of scratch tickets on Sunday.

11:55 a.m. Police responded to a report of larceny by check at 1 Donegal Road. Nicole Bixbee will be issued a summons for larceny, uttering, and forgery.

5:35 p.m. Police responded to a road rage incident at 4 Centennial Drive and 1 First Avenue.

8:21 p.m. Eric Mackey, of 37 Lebanon Street in Melrose, and Joseph Murray, of 59 Camille Road in Revere, were arrested for larceny over $250.00 at the Northshore Mall, Nordstrom, 210N Andover Street. Officer reports parties attempted to steal 36 pairs of jeans worth $6,700.

8:30 p.m. Police responded to a report of a couple having sex in Farnham Park on Endicott Street.

8:41 p.m. Chitra Rema-Vijayan, of 200 Mountain Avenue in Revere, was arrested for shoplifting at the Northshore Mall, Sears, 210S Andover Street.

9:28 p.m. Walk-in parties reported to police that man approached them at Farnham Park offering to sell them a shotgun. Suspect denied the allegation.

Tuesday, June 26:

12:18 a.m. Officers received a report of a vehicle driving the wrong way down Route 1 South. No vehicle located.

8:21 a.m. Police responded to a domestic disturbance at 9 Walker Road. Christina Papa and Kayla McCarthy, both of 9 Walker Road, were summonsed for domestic assault and battery.

9:34 a.m. Stephen Lightizer, of 68 Moffant Road in Salem, was arrested on three outstanding warrants.

1:04 p.m. David Ramos, of 13 Rockdale Avenue, was arrested on the basis of an outstanding warrant.
