The following was taken from the Peabody Police Department logs for Wednesday and Thursday. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law:
Wednesday, July 25:
4:41 p.m. The property owner for Abrams Management Co. reported that sometime Friday night his trailer at 261C Newbury Street was stripped of copper.
6:48 p.m. Police responded to a hit and run at 46 Wallis Street.
7:36 p.m. Police took a report of a hit and run that took place on Route 128 near Centennial Drive.
Thursday, July 26:
12:01 a.m. Police responded to a report of a restraining order violation at 25 Emerson Street. Ivan Christie III, of 195 Union Street in Lynn, was summonsed for violating an abuse prevention order.
1:29 a.m. Police responded to a fight in progress at 64 Foster Street.
1:35 a.m. Daniel Keohane, of 10 Pulaski Street, was arrested for domestic assault and battery.
2:27 a.m. Police responded to a disturbance at 465 Lowell Street and 2 Norwich Road. Cab driver states that three intoxicated males refused to pay the fare. Parties reportedly exited the vehicle and began punching it.
3:57 a.m. Police responded to 460 Lowell Street for a report of attempted theft. Calling party states he heard a loud noise in his driveway and saw someone attempting to steal his motorcycle. It appears someone attempted to lift the motorcycle into the back of a pickup truck and dropped it, causing damage. Suspect not located.
