Peabody weekend police log
The following was taken from the Peabody Police Department logs for Saturday and Sunday. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law:
Saturday, August 18:
1:33 a.m. Police responded to a disturbance on Lowell Street. A man reported that he was involved in an argument in West Peabody, and was followed to his residence where Joe Milhelm broke a few windows and his front door. Joe Milhelm, of 12 Valley Circle, was arrested for malicious destruction of property more than $250 and attempting to commit a crime.
1:58 a.m. Police responded to a report of two male parties passed out on the sidewalk at Washington and Parsons streets.
4:10 p.m. A caller reported finding hypodermic needles outside of her residence on Greenwood Road. Officer located and removed items.
5:06 p.m. Taylor Melanson, of 74 Wallis Street, was arrested for domestic assault and battery.
8:06 p.m. Police responded to Bonkers Fun House on Lowell Street. An employee reports that a man stole a plush animal offered as a prize at the establishment.
Sunday, August 19:
1:25 a.m. Police responded to a report of a fight in progress on Bowditch Street. Officer reports a verbal argument between a man and his cousin. All in order.
12:04 p.m. Martha E. Sosa, of 181 Highland Street, Chelsea, was arrested on the basis of a warrant.
