Peabody police log, Oct. 29-30

The following was taken from the Peabody Police Department logs for Monday and Tuesday. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law:

Monday, Oct. 29

2:02 p.m. Caller reports wires down on Buttonwood Lane. Peabody Municipal Light Plant removed the wires.

2:23 p.m. Police responded to a report of a tree down on a house on Elizabeth Lane.

2:49 p.m. Police closed Bartholomew Street at Lynn Street. DPW removed a large tree that was falling and the wires were re-hung.

3:13 p.m. Police responded to a report of a tree down on a house on Tremont Street. Officer stated no wires down, tree does not appear to be a priority.

3:40 p.m. Caller reports a tree fallen in the driveway on Fulton Street. No wires down, appears to be no damage.

4:07 p.m. Caller reports wires and a tree down, with possible damage to a car on Lake Shore Drive. Electric department notified.

4:48 p.m. Police responded to a report of wires down across Lowell Street. Lowell street was closed, and Peabody Municipal Light Plant reattached the wires.

5:10 p.m. Caller reports a pole sparking in the Park Street parking lot. Peabody Municipal Light Plant notified.

6:07 p.m. Police responded to a report of a tree down on a house on Symphony Road.

7:46 p.m. Police received a report of a large branch down with wires on Paleologos Street. Fire department checked out the scene.

9:37 p.m. Officer reports traffic light facing the wrong way at Andover Street and Esquire Drive.

Tuesday, Oct. 30

1:39 a.m. Officer reports a tree down across the road on Baldwin Street.

9:06 a.m. Caller reports a motor vehicle was broken into at the Holiday Inn on Newbury Street. Officer will document the incident.

10:09 a.m. Dana A. Michaud, of 14 Collins Street, was arrested and will be charged with domestic assault.

11:03 a.m. Police responded to Nordstrom at the Northshore Mall on a report of a shoplifter. Krista Rita McCaffrey, of 454 E. Third Street, South Boston, was arrested and will be charged with shoplifting more than $100 by concealment.

11:20 a.m. Melissa Carrasquillo, of 89 Liberty Street, Lynn, will be summonsed to court and charged with violating an abuse prevention order, and threatening to commit a crime.

12:22 p.m. Samantha Deragon, of 10 Ord Street, Salem, and Nicole Dimuro, of 12 Hamerick Road, Peabody, will both be summonsed to court and charged with shoplifting by concealment.
